HOLZ is a carpentry workshop in Reggio Emilia. We design and build wooden furniture made to last, not to be replaced.
Where does it come from?
Years of work in environments where every detail counts—nautical, specialty vehicles—have taught us that well-built furniture never breaks. The right materials, solid joints, no compromises.
HOLZ was born there: from the idea that furniture can be made with the same care.
What we do
Furniture made of Italian poplar plywood, hand-built one by one.
No mass production, no warehouse.
Each piece is made to order for the person who chose it.
How we do it
Direct production, without intermediaries.
Each piece of furniture arrives at your home already assembled, ready to use.
The materials and construction solutions are designed to last for decades without intervention.
Why HOLZ exists
Because it makes no sense to throw away a piece of furniture after a few years.
Because buying well once is better than buying badly three times.
And because if a piece of furniture is made properly, it can accompany you for your whole life.
